We open the doors on select dates throughout the year for students and their families to ask questions, explore campus and get a feel for UMaine.

Campus Tour

UMaine students lead a 90-minute walking tour of the campus, highlighting our dorms, classrooms, fitness facilities and academic support centers.

UMaine makes it easy to apply — on your terms. Apply online through the university’s website, mail a downloadable application, or use the Common Application.

Application Information

UMaine has a rolling application policy, so technically there’s no deadline. However, in order to be best positioned for Financial Aid offers and Housing options, we recommend you get your application in by February 1.

Scholarships

UMaine provides assistance with the cost of tuition and related fees. These include Merit-based Scholarships to Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships to International Student Tuition Scholarships. Scholarships are available to both in-state and
out-of-state applicants.
