Orientation Orientation is the perfect time for new students to get a sense of just how much UMaine has to offer, as well as get comfortable with the campus and amenities.

Spring Orientation

Spring Orientation is a one-day event held in January. This orientation program is for first-year and transfer students starting in the Spring semester.

Summer Orientation

Summer Orientation 2023 is a one-day per-college program held between June 26 and June 30. Choose the date dedicated to their academic major. Registration will open by March 1, 2023

Monday, June 26: Education
Tuesday, June 27: Business
Wednesday, June 28: Engineering
Thursday – June 29: Natural Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture
Friday – Liberal Arts and Sciences

 

Fall Orientation Help Desk

As part of the Week of Welcome, the New Student Orientation Team will be available to assist new students as they arrive on campus.
