Physics and Astronomy
The faculty are dedicated to teaching and research in areas including, but not limited to, biophysics, nanophysics/surface science, physics education, statistical physics, spiral galaxies and galaxy clusters, astronomy education, and environmental/health physics. On the undergraduate side, we offer BA and BS degrees in physics and an ABET accredited engineering physics (EPS) degree, one of the first in the country. We also offer minors in both physics and astronomy. For graduate programs, we have masters programs in physics and engineering physics, and a doctoral program in physics.
