Maine Engineering Pathways Program
The Maine Engineering Pathways Program is a 1+3 program that allows academically prepared students to start their engineering program at the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) and, after successfully completing the first year program at UMPI, transfer into one of the following engineering majors offered at UMaine:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Construction Engineering Technology
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Engineering Physics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Survey Engineering Technology
In Engineering Pathway program, students get right into the field of engineering with an introductory course to explore engineering as a career. In addition, students will build their expertise in foundational mathematics and science courses in the first year as they prepare to transfer to UMaine. The 1+3 program is designed to graduate academically prepared students in 4 years.
